Basketball and Volleyball

Sports help children develop physical skills, get exercise, make friends, have fun, learn teamwork, learn to play fair, and improve self-esteem. At Togher N.S. we hope to give children an opportunity to play as many sports as possible. This summer the school yard has been lined and marked and new equipment has been purchased. We just needed a few budding engineers to put the equipment together.

Icecream!

The children were delighted to hear the jingle of the ice-cream van as it pulled into Togher N.S. The children were soon enjoying their  ice-cream cones to celebrate the Summer holidays. Many thanks to our wonderful Board of Management for facilitating this lovely treat.

Pizzas!

Thanks so much to Andrew and Martina Healy of SuperValu for donating scrumptious pizzas to us today along with bottles of water.

Everybody loved this wonderful surprise. Thanks to Maura O Connell for delivering them.
