Togher Playschool is an independent pre-school service located at Togher National School. The playschool is run by qualified and experienced staff. It offers sessional pre-school places for children aged 3 to 5 years, in a gentle homely atmosphere. Activities include arts and crafts, baking and gardening and there is a beautiful outdoor play area. The playschool is open Monday to Friday. Morning sessions are from 9.10am to 12.10pm and afternoon sessions are from 1pm to 4pm. ECCE free pre-school year places are available.

The playschool is not regulated by the school which only provides facilities to enable an independent contractor and parents to make arrangements between themselves. Parents discharge any fees payable directly to the independent contractor who is responsible for all aspects of the service provided. The contractor has her own insurance. While the school makes every effort to facilitate all parties, neither the Board of Management of the school nor the trustees of the Parish can accept any liability whatsoever for any matter arising in connection with the playschool or in neglect or default of the independent contractor.
