The Treasures of Dunmanway
How lucky are we to live in the heart of West Cork in this little town of ours.
Dunmanway is a fabulous place to live with beautiful places to visit and a great volunteer/community ethos.
The Treasures Trail is a great way to celebrate this.

Schedule of Events
Saturday 27th May:
Dunmanway Library:
11am to 1pm – Art workshop on the Treasures of Dunmanway. All welcome. Come and create images of all you love about the town and its people. Drawing, painting, collage, etc.
3 to 4.30 – Storytelling and music celebrating the worlds that are revealed to us when we open a book. With a dramatic performance of Cherokee stories suitable for all ages and some stories sung in the form of ballads .
Dunmanway Community Sports Hall:
10a.m. –3.30 p.m – Showcase of the great activities provided in Dunmanway Community Sports Hall including Boxing, Badminton, Taekwondo, Tennis & Macra.

Sunday 28th May:
Community Garden and Family Resource Centre:
1—3pm – Open Garden & Treasure Hunt in the Dunmanway Community Garden & Family Resource Centre from . Garden – Plant/ Seed swap, Pirate themed treasure hunt. DFRC– Exhibition of ‘I Love Dunmanway’ photographs, children’s & adults art competition & I Love Dunmanway Tree .
Dunmanway Foroige Club in the Youth Café:
3p.m.-4p.m – Open Café, Internet /Social Media safety, Information on the Youth Café & Foroige services in Dunmanway all with Tea/Coffee & cake.
Dunmanway Lake:
4.30 to 5.30 – Live and recorded music playing outdoors at the beautiful surroundings of the lake.
