Michelle O’Mahony visited the school today to tell us about The Daniel Mac Carthy Glas Archive. We were fascinated to hear about this hugely important historical archive which has been generously gifted to Ireland. This archive will allow us to explore a much more detailed history of our local area. Michelle explained that this extensive archive will be studied by many different historians and that documents from the archive will become available over the next two years.
