Instead of our usual friendly, smiling children we were confronted by ghouls, trolls, vampires, witches and strange creatures of all shapes and sizes.

We suspect that this was the result of the secret potion that some of the children concocted – even one of the teachers was affected!

Luckily we had lots of barmbrack, jelly, school made brown bread, crab apple jelly and cup cakes at hand to keep them happy.
