Today we visited West Cork Secret.
Younger children had the opportunity to explore the extensive gardens with an expert to tell them about the different species and life cycles of the plants and trees. They also potted their own seeds, learnt about growing conditions and care of plants; and then they can then take home their own plant and watch it grow and develop.
Students from second class up learnt how to navigate the various obstacles of the course and were set team activities that involved problem solving and supporting one another to be successful. The water slide was very popular. Needless to say, the change of clothes was vital!
The home-made pizzas helped satiate their appetites after all that activity!
