The Togher N.S. GAA team enjoyed a great day of football at the GAA grounds in Ballingeary. During a mostly sunny day, all the children took the opportunity to develop their GAA skills. They were accompanied by teachers Mr Swann & Ms O Connell. They beat The Model School, Ballinagree N.S., Carriganima N.S. and drew with Cappabue N.S. Every player on the day was outstanding and a most enjoyable day was had by all.
After some hard fought and nerve wracking battles, Togher managed to qualify for the finals V Cappabue N.S.
If you hear loud shouting from the pitch over the next few weeks – that will be the team training!
All parents are invited to the final on Thursday 28th of May in Dunmanway. Last years final was a cracking game and it looks like it’s going to be equally close this year.
