We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Water Safety Flag from Cork County Council.
The students were visited recently by Water Safety Development Officer Ms. Caroline Casey from Cork County Council, who spoke to the students about the importance of water safety, different issues to be aware of when around water and how to avoid specific dangers in places such as the beach and on farms.
The presentation ceremony will take place in Bantry on Friday.
