We enjoyed working in pairs to make up certain amounts of money using different coins. We learned to gather up certain amounts of money quickly.
We were disappointed that we hadn’t a lot of 50c coins. We had seven 50 c coins and that made up €3.50. The teacher searched in her bag for 50c coins but she could only fine one. We loved the fact that we had real money and not toy money.
We will play shop with the money another day and we will give change. We will have fun at Maths time.
