The children in the junior room had great fun adding some new colour to our pots and planters.
The children in the senior room planted many bulbs in the garden. We would like to thank Cassie for her generous donations of bulbs to the school. We look forward to seeing a great variety of flowers in spring.
We harvested some of our vegetables this Monday and enjoyed them along with some other tasty treats we made during cookery class.
We were delighted to see beautiful entries arrive today for Design a Welly. All entries will be collected from the school on Friday.

In Science 2nd, 3rd and 4th class made bird feeders and we hung them out in our garden.
Today was a very busy day in Togher N.S. Children from all classes planted potatoes, onions, peas, carrots, kale, broccoli and flower seeds.
We also planted the chitted potatoes. We wrote about this recently.
We look forward to seeing our vegetables and flowers growing during the next few months.
We were busy chitting potatoes today. The potatoes have now been stored in a bright, cool place and should produce nice, healthy shoots ready for planting in the middle of March.
We had a lovely load of topsoil delivered to the school, so the children got stuck in and got the vegetable beds ready.
We have a lovely crop of apples in the garden. The children are picking the larger apples and they are all looking forward to a tasty treat during the Halloween party.
The Junior Room has been busy planting blubs and bedding plants in the tubs at the front of the school.
Today, between the showers, we managed to harvest all our lovely fruit and vegetables. We are really looking forward to eating them tomorrow.
