The children were delighted to be joined by best-selling children’s author Caroline Busher and artist Sarah Bowie for a very special St. Brigid’s day storytelling and craft event. Caroline explored the folklore and traditions of our ancestors as they heralded the start of spring and celebrated St Brigid’s day on 01st February each year. Sarah then show the children how to make and decorate a St. Brigid’s cross with a modern twist.
