Children from the junior and senior class participated in the second farm safety seminar during the week.

The event for older children included helpful tips on how they and farmers can stay safe around some of the main machinery and vehicles used on our farms. Children learnt the do’s and don’ts of quad bikes, the tractor safety checklist and P.T.O safety.

Children in the junior room learnt how to read the different behavioural traits and mannerisms shown by animals including bulls, horses and dogs.

It was an excellent learning opportunity using Zoom.
