We had a wonderful night at our End of Year Celebration. This was our opportunity to look back at some of the highlights of the past school year and to wish our 6th class pupils a fond farewell as they embark on the next stage of their education. We were delighted to welcome Cork football and hurling legend Seán Óg Ó hAilpín to Togher N.S.  Seán Óg spoke to the children about his own time in school and the importance of education. He also spoke about his sporting career and the many benefits from participating in sport. He then presented the children with their medals. A huge thank you to Peadar (Daniel’s Dad) for facilitating this visit and our fantastic Parents Association for the lovely cakes and treats. We would like to wish Alice, Daniel, Muirís, Oisín and Shauna  all the very best in secondary school and hope that they will call to see us again sometime.
