Fís Filming

The children have been really busy working on the script, story-boarding, learning lines and sourcing costumes for our latest F.I.S.  Film and now its finally time for LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION. This year we will be using a green screen for the first time. For these scenes our young actors will be acting without scenery and the Director will play a vital role. The children are really interested in how this technology works and can’t wait to see the finished footage. Many thanks to Victor Hayes from the Dunmanway S.C.P. for all his help with the film.

The FÍS Film Project  encourages creativity and imagination among children and their teachers in Irish primary schools. This highly successful film project explores film as a medium of expression in relation to the arts, and introduces children to many aspects of the film-making process.
