We had a great day with Stephanie from the Heritage Council. We are a “Hands on – Minds on” school so we were delighted when Stephanie brought us to the local stream where we discovered the many fascinating creatures that live in this local habitat. The children were fascinated to learn about the identification chart that allowed them to identify the creatures they found and then returned safely. Stephanie explained the importance of a clean habitat for biodiversity.
